PASTOR DAN RUSHING
Pastor Dan Rushing has been a cherished member of Friendship Baptist Church Ocala Fl since June 2005. Over the years, he has made invaluable contributions to our community, serving in various leadership roles before becoming our Pastor.
He graduated from Bible College in 1967 and has served in multiple pastoral roles for 50 years. Before taking on the role of Pastor in June 2021, Dan dedicated his time and energy as an Associate Pastor and Deacon. Furthermore, he was instrumental in leading congregational singing during services, fostering a sense of unity and reverence in worship.
Today, Pastor Dan Rushing continues to guide and inspire our congregation with his unwavering commitment, wisdom, and passion for spreading the Gospel. We are grateful for his leadership and are excited for the spiritual growth of our church community under his care.
ASSOCIATE PASTOR DON WILLIAMS
After completing a year of internship in Oklahoma and another in Alabama, Pastor Don and his wife felt called to serve as missionaries in France. They moved there in May 1974 and spent over four decades sharing the Gospel, nurturing relationships, and fostering spiritual growth within the French community. Their commitment to spreading the Word of God led to a profound impact on the lives of many.
In January 2019, Pastor Don and his wife retired from their missionary work and returned to the United States. In October 2021, he took up the mantle of Associate Pastor, where he continues to provide pastoral care, mentorship, and spiritual guidance to his congregation.
Pastor Don’s extensive experience, passion for service, and heart for God have made him a valuable asset to the church and a beloved figure within the community.

Sunday School
The adult Sunday School starts in Mercer Hall every Sunday morning at 9:00. It is a great opportunity for fellowship and lessons from the Bible.
Sunday Worship
The Sunday Worship commemorates at 10:00. We offer a traditional service with hymns.
Sunday Night
Starting at 6:00 pm, the Sunday Night service is a more relaxed and intimate opportunity to dive deeper into the Word of God
Wednesday Night
The Wednesday Night service begins at 6:00 pm and is a mid-week boost for your faith. We gather to pray and to study the Bible.
Upstream seeks out people that are impacting the world around them but lack the necessities to further their work.
