Pastor Don Williams is a dedicated and compassionate spiritual leader who has been serving the community since 1972. He holds a degree from Baptist Bible College in Springfield, MO, and has a wealth of experience in ministry, both within the United States and internationally.
After completing a year of internship in Oklahoma and another in Alabama, Pastor Don and his wife felt called to serve as missionaries in France. They moved there in May 1974 and spent over four decades sharing the Gospel, nurturing relationships, and fostering spiritual growth within the French community. Their commitment to spreading the Word of God led to a profound impact on the lives of many.
In January 2019, Pastor Don and his wife retired from their missionary work and returned to the United States. In October 2021, he took up the mantle of Associate Pastor, where he continues to provide pastoral care, mentorship, and spiritual guidance to his congregation.
Pastor Don’s extensive experience, passion for service, and heart for God have made him a valuable asset to the church and a beloved figure within the community.
With the retirement of Pastor Dan Rushing on June 9, 2024, Pastor Williams was voted to be the interim pastor of Friendship Baptist Church during the search for a new pastor.

The Wednesday Night service begins at 6:00 pm and is a mid-week boost for your faith. We gather to pray and to study the Bible.
Upstream seeks out people that are impacting the world around them but lack the necessities to further their work.
God’s plan for all humanity. We recognize that we have all sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. However, through His grace and mercy, we can be reconciled to Him through faith in Jesus Christ.
The Holy Spirit is surely at work in our lives, empowering us to live a pleasing life to God. As we follow Jesus Christ, we are transformed by His love and grace and empowered to live a life that honors Him.
At Friendship Baptist, we invite all seeking to know God and experience His salvation to come and join us on this journey of faith.
You Matter to God. & You Matter to Us.
You are cordially welcome to join us for any of services!
